Eagle Bluff Lighthouse is one of ten Door County lighthouses - five on the mainland and five on near-shore islands - that once guided sailing ships into the ports of Sturgeon Bay and Green Bay. Professional Tour Guides at Eagle Bluff Lighthouse in Peninsula State Park bring to life the history of the lighthouse, its keepers and their families who kept the light burning for 58 years before the light was automated.  Narrative tours of the buildings and grounds are offerred from late May through October. Access to the other Door County lighthouses including Cana Island Lighthouse varies, because the U.S. Coast Guard still uses them as active stations.

Visitors are encouraged to tour most of the lighthouses during the annual Door County Lighthouse Walk. Contact the Door County Maritime Museum & Lighthouse Preservation Society, Inc., at 920.743.5958, or the Door County Visitor and Convention Bureau, 920.743.4456, for more information and dates of the annual event.
